The Android app supports widgets of various kinds, and several third party options further enhance this capability, with prices ranging from free to a few dollars. Whether you're working from Windows, Mac, Android, iOS, or even just a web browser on pretty much any OS, you can keep track of your work and progress easily and cleanly. Trello is also extremely flexible to use in part because of the breadth of its available apps. Subtasks can be assigned on an individual basis, and it's easy for team members to communicate their progress in a very simple interface. Using their card system, it's easy to define top level projects and then layer in a hierarchy of tasks necessary to achieve those projects. What's great about Trello is that you can use it in a variety of ways, with a fairly deep level of granularity.

Beyond that, I've also used it extensively on my own projects working with other teams to create various kinds of content, ranging from writing to the full suite of production responsibilities. Most of my usage for Trello is in the context of film and writing projects, working with teams of fellow students at UCLA. Additionally, some useful features such as attaching files directly within a card help make communication between teams easier while reducing confusion over where certain documents should go- no more emailing back and forth multiple versions of the same document! It also makes it easy for managers to see what tasks have been assigned and who’s working on them at any given time-plus, they can check up on progress remotely if need be! I found that having cards divided by teams was especially helpful during larger projects this way each team knew exactly which areas were their responsibility without needing frequent reminders from me as their consultant. This easily allows team members to track progress and assign deadlines as necessary. Within these boards, we can create lists which are used to organize tasks into categories cards represent individual tasks or steps in the process and can be assigned to one or more individuals responsible for completing them. The first step in using Trello is creating individual boards for each project or task. Trello was the ideal tool for streamlining project management and organizing information efficiently so that it could be accessed quickly when needed.
