An Android version of the game was released on November 7, 2014. The iOS version of the game was released in July 2014. Each victory has different ways of achieving it. There are four ways to win the game: Domination (capture all enemy capitals), Economic (collect 20,000 gold pieces and build the World Bank), Cultural (acquire 20 converted cities, wonders, or great people, then build the United Nations), and Science (be the first to launch a spaceship to Alpha Centauri). Other civilizations are also on the map, whom the player can discuss with and trade technologies.

Once the player has founded their capital, the player may start research and city production.

Players are tasked with building an empire from one of several choices, including Japan, America and Russia, among others. The game features returning leaders from the original Civilization Revolution, such as Abraham Lincoln and Napoleon Bonaparte, along with new leaders such as Winston Churchill and John F. It is a spin-off of the Civilization series and a sequel to Civilization Revolution.

All in all, I enjoy the game, just wish there was a little more depth to the diplomacy with other nations and the combat mechanics were tweaked. It feels like you'll play regular and suddenly all enemies have Infantrymen attacking your Archers because they somehow managed to all discover gunpowder in 3 turns (exaggeration). Then there's a huge skill gap in the Warlord and King difficulty. Also, the units are usually represented in 3s but some of the stronger units only have 2, so sometimes the 3s beat the 2s or 1s just because it had 3 troops representing the unit. I don't think I've ever heard of a fighter jet being shot down by a musket, but it happens alot here. Also, it seems like there is a flaw in the combat system. It's always "give us this technology or die" and then it a strength check. Plus they leave options for using culture to beat a militarily stronger opponent.

There's naval battles, fights for air superiority and fighting over choke points and resources. You can use terrain to win battles that you might have lost. I like how the different civilizations affect gameplay and that you have to play to their strengths.
